I have looked at a lot of stock images because weather I post it or not Photo manips are fun, Now I've seen many Stock pages that work on the honor system where they give free rein to download n use their images, with stipulations of what Not to use said stick for... and if its you or people you know that is more than understandable. My issue comes from the ones that have a price attached but still have stipulations on useage, once someone has Paid the artist for said image... said copy became a transaction, as in You bought a copy, it was Purchased... yes? thus that copy is now theirs to use as they see fit... weather the OP likes it or not, it was sold and thus no longer belongs to the artist, it sucks and is kinda messed up from an artistic point of view... but if you buy a Piece of wood can the seller say "Okay, that's yours but don't go burning it... It's only for building stuff" and you light a fire with it... can the seller now sue you or take it back? Not that I'm aware of.
